Annual Strawberry Festival

June 12-16, 2024

It is time for the Annual Strawberry Festival at the Community Homecoming park located on Angola Rd, in Springfield Township. We hope that it will be our biggest event ever! As in previous years, we will have all of our favorite fresh strawberry treats: pies, shortcakes, milkshakes and more. Premium shows of America will provide carnival rides to excite the young and the old alike. 

 

The strawberry festival is the Holland/Springfield area's largest event, and provides funding for numerous improvements to the communities quality of life. Our accomplishments are visible throughout the community. This year's mission is to provide help in youth sports, clean and safe parks for our community children, alternative activities for the youth, and provide companionship and a little happiness to the community and the elderly while helping needy families throughout the year.

 

Anyone who has attended the Strawberry Festival knows it is truly a family oriented event for all age groups. The festival offers desserts, games, rides, a parade, merchandise vendors and much more. It offers fun for the entire family. Each year attendance at the festival ranges from 15,000 to 20,000 people.

This year we are seeking sponsors associated with the festival. Gate admission is $3.00 for ages 8 and and up CASH ONLY. Ride arm bands rides can be purchased for $25.00 each. The festival hours Wednesday thru Friday will be 5:00 till close, Saturday and Sunday noon till close. DJ will be playing on the stage Wednesday thru Sunday.

 

This year we will have a beer tent on Friday and Saturday nights only. Must be 21to enter the beer tent NO EXCEPTIONS. Sunday will be the end of the festival parade starting at 1pm in the village of Holland and traveling through the streets of Holland to the festival. Bring your favorite strawberry dish that you want to show off for the bake off on Sunday, prizes awarded to the top three dishes.
